Duan Asemota Crowned Canada’s Fastest Man — Again

Indoor. Outdoor. It doesn’t matter — Duan Asemota owns the lanes.

We’re proud to share that Tonbara Sports athlete Duan Asemota is officially Canada’s 100m national champion, winning gold at the 2025 Canadian Track & Field Championships with a blazing 10.12s finish in Langley, BC.

This victory marks Duan’s second national title of the season, after he already won the 60m indoor event earlier this year — making him the only Canadian athlete in 2025 to sweep both sprint titles. That kind of dominance doesn’t happen by chance. It’s the result of elite-level focus, preparation, and precision.

From Ajax’s grassroots beginnings to the national spotlight, Duan has consistently established himself as a key figure in Canadian sprinting — and now the country recognises it.

2025 Achievements So Far:

  • 60m Indoor Champion

  • 100m Outdoor Champion

  • Season Best: 10.12 (-0.5 m/s wind)

  • Training Base: Speed Academy

What’s Next?

With this momentum, Duan now sets his sights on international competition — ready to take on the world and carry the Canadian sprint legacy forward.

We’re proud to support Duan’s journey as part of the Tonbara team and excited to share what’s coming next. If you're a brand looking to connect with Canada’s fastest man, now’s the moment.
