Tonbara Sports & Entertainment Signs Omaha Guard Lance Waddles

Summit League Champion and elite shooter surpassed 1,000 career points

TORONTO / MIAMI / NEW YORK — Tonbara Sports & Entertainment is pleased to announce the signing of Lance Waddles, a guard who recently completed his collegiate career at the University of Nebraska Omaha.

Waddles, a 6'4" guard from Shreveport, Louisiana, was a key contributor to one of the most successful teams in Omaha program history. The Mavericks reached the NCAA Tournament after winning the Summit League regular-season and tournament championships—the program's first Division I titles.

In 2025-26, Waddles led Division I in three-pointers made early in the season and earned Summit League Peak Performer of the Week honours after back-to-back 25-point games. His seven made three-pointers against York were the most in a game by a Maverick that season.

Waddles finished with 424 points and reached 1,000 career points. He averaged 12.8 points for the team and was the leading rebounder among qualified players.
