Hamilton native and Division II All-American concludes NCAA career with multiple March Madness appearances.
TORONTO / MIAMI / NEW YORK — Tonbara Sports & Entertainment is pleased to announce the signing of Josh Omojafo, a guard who recently finished his NCAA career at the University of South Florida.
Omojafo, a 6'5" guard from Hamilton, Ontario, averaged 11.5 points and 5.3 rebounds per game for the Bulls in the American Athletic Conference. His journey to Division I basketball highlights his relentless work ethic and ability to improve at every level.
At Gannon University, Omojafo scored 699 total points—the second-highest single-season total in program history—and set a school record with 244 free throws made. He earned NCAA Division II Conference Commissioner's Association All-America Second Team honours and was named to the NABC Division II All-America Team. He helped lead Gannon to a 32-3 overall record, PSAC regular-season and tournament titles, an NCAA Atlantic Region championship, and a berth in the NCAA Division II Elite Eight.
At Robert Morris, Omojafo surpassed 1,000 career points and was named to the Barbasol Horizon League Men's Basketball Championship All-Tournament Team after helping the Colonials win a conference title and secure a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
A product of St. Jean de Brébeuf Catholic Secondary School in Hamilton, Omojafo won championships in basketball, football, and track & field during his prep career before starting his college journey.
